County-level property-records search is a massive, overlooked category. Across the top 22 counties alone, Americans run roughly 490,000 searches a month for '{county} property records' — and Orange County, FL draws 110,000 of those on its own.
Florida dominates, and it's structural. Twelve of the top 22 counties are in Florida. The reason isn't population — it's that Florida vests property records in an elected county 'Property Appraiser,' a household term locals search by name, so per-capita records search runs far higher than in other states.
The competition is strikingly low. We pulled every '…property records' search query DataForSEO tracks in the US with 5,000+ monthly searches, then de-duplicated phrasing variants (e.g. 'orange county property records florida' and 'property records orange county fl') to a single row per county, keeping the highest-volume variant. Difficulty (KD) is DataForSEO's 0–100 estimate of how hard it is to rank in the top 10. State-level queries are excluded from the county ranking.
